The
process can be finished in a microwave oven or in air. During the
course, silica gel may be used repeatedly, provided that it should
be in dry state and kept in airtight container, Any flower can be
dried, however some dry better than others, for example, rose, pansies,
spider mums, leaves, ferns, and other thin bodied floral.
When drying,
pay more attention to a few points as follows:
1.
Flowers should be placed with buds up .
2.
If drying more than one flower, do not let flowers touch each
other.
3.
Before reusing the silica gel, make sure the moisture trapped
in the gel be driven out by drying the gel in microwave or conventional
oven.
